LAKZY BAR
DirectionsNestled within the vibrant landscape of Pattaya City, Lakzy Bar offers a taste of the city's lively nightlife, Best pool table in Pattaya! and well known with their 1st class Margarita cocktail.
Pattaya’s nightlife is not one thing. It is four or five districts sitting within a few minutes of each other, and they differ more in price and in crowd than in what they actually serve. Picking the district matters more than picking the bar, and the districts are close enough that changing your mind costs you a short walk.
Beach Road runs along the water. Second Road sits one block inland. Soi Buakhao is another block inland again, running from South Pattaya Road up to Central Pattaya Road. Walking Street is at the southern end of Beach Road. As a rule of thumb, the further you move inland from the sea, the cheaper the evening gets — and the fewer people are trying to bring you through a door.
The city’s nightlife centre, and for many visitors the reason they came. A dense strip of neon bars, go-go clubs, live-music venues and large nightclubs, loud from early evening onward and busiest well after dark. It is the highest-energy option and the most expensive, and it is worth walking once end to end even if it turns out not to be your kind of night — there is nothing else quite like it in Thailand.
The other end of the range. Relaxed beer bars, small pubs and quiet lounges, popular with people who live here and with travellers on their second or third visit. Prices are noticeably lower, the music is at a volume you can talk over, and you can sit at the same bar all evening without anyone minding. LK Metro is the denser of the two, a compact grid of bars just off Soi Buakhao.
On Soi Buakhao itself: an open-air complex of bars, live-music venues and food stalls arranged around a square. Walking in costs nothing — you pay at the individual bars and stalls. It suits a long, unhurried evening rather than a night out, and it is the easiest place in the city to eat and drink in the same spot without choosing between the two.
Open-air bars facing the water. This is where an evening starts rather than where it ends: a drink while the light goes, and then a decision about which direction to walk. It is also the least committing option on this page — nothing here requires you to stay.
A rooftop bar at the Hilton Pattaya, with ocean views and an upscale feel. The most polished room on this page, and the one place here where dressing up is not wasted.
A large nightclub on Walking Street — DJs, lasers, and a dance floor to match. If you want the big-room version of a Pattaya night, this is it.
Live rock bands nightly, on Walking Street. The crowd comes for the music rather than for the street, which makes it a useful anchor if the rest of Walking Street is not to your taste.
Rock-themed, with regular live music and an easy atmosphere. Less intense than the Walking Street venues and closer to a pub than to a club.
