Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Rider's Recommend collects when you visit https://www.ridersrecommend.com, and — just as importantly — what it does not.
The short version
Rider's Recommend is a static information website. It has no user accounts, no sign-in, no newsletter and no shopping cart. The one thing you can send us is a message through the contact form.
Apart from that form, we do not ask you for personal information.
What is recorded automatically
As with every website, the hosting provider records technical details of each request: IP address, browser type and version, the page requested, and the date and time. This is used to operate the site and to keep it secure.
The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, and those records are held by the hosting provider. They are not combined with any other information about you, and they are not sold or shared for marketing.
The contact form
The form asks for a name, an address to reply to, and a message. Those three are stored in our database with the time you sent them, along with a one-way digest of your IP address used only to limit how many messages can be sent in an hour — the digest cannot be turned back into an address.
Messages are read in the site's admin and are not passed to anyone else, and nothing sent through the form is used for marketing. A message stays until it is deleted by hand.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own. It runs no advertising trackers and no analytics scripts.
This site loads nothing from a third party: the fonts, styles and images all come from our own domain, so visiting a page tells no one but us that you were here. Websites you reach from our links set their own cookies under their own policies.
Affiliate links
Some links on this website are affiliate links, including links to AliExpress products and to travel partners such as car rental, eSIM, motorcycle rental, flights, attraction tickets and airport transfers.
